Mrs Balbir Singh never fails to amaze! Really really enjoying this set, especially the Tandoori rub. All the recipes are really easy to follow and absolutely delicious. This particular set is a great way to branch out into vegetarian options whilst maintaining plenty of meat and poultry options. Can't recommend it highly enough!
This is the best butter chicken recipe we’ve ever had, so much better than shop-bought jars as it has so much more depth of flavour. This is a repeat buy for us, and a regular at dinner time.
Perfect spice for lamb, really enhances the flavour of the meat without overpowering it. I tend to use less ginger than the recipe card suggests, but that’s just personal preference. It’s a regular dinner for us.

I bought butter chicken, biryani and dal pak spice mixes. The butter chicken came in pouches despite ordering tins (did check my order), so guess that’s all they had in stock. Not to worry, will buy again.
I made the biryani on Friday with lamb and it was delicious. Had the dal last night with rice and again the flavours popped. The butter chicken is ready to finish off for Sunday night and the taste is amazing. It is far better than any jar, including the expensive Gymkhana range. And even better, I always have the rest of the ingredients to hand.
I have made similar dished before from scratch, but having the mixes to hand is a game changer and the quality of the spices are excellent. Smell fresh and fragrant.
I’m now looking at the rest of the range and will be ordering more. Do not hesitate to purchase.

The butter chicken (finished product ) is just devine and truly the best I’ve ever cooked. It’s tangy, has a little kick but moreover, it’s subtle and very authentic…

Gave it to my nephew as a present, to help him cook. Following day I got a message to say he’d cooked chicken masala for his mum and dad and everyone loved it. Result 😃😃
This is such a regular for us. My daughters sans sister use it too.
We don’t use the recipe amount as it’s just too spicy for me although my husband would prefer the full amount in it.
So easy to make, even my husband can make it.
I’ve tried a lot of the spices and they are all lovely but this is the firm favourite.
If I had one negative its that it’s such a shame to throw out these lovely tins. I’d like you to do refill sachets. More economical.
I also think a recipe with every tin is excessive. Why not have the option, when ordering, to tick a box of you need a recipe card.

I precious bought the butter chicken spice and it was really delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we recently ordered another 2 pots of the spice as we intend to cook it for family and friends. Initially I thought the garlic and ginger quantities were too high but once cooked, the level was just perfect.
It’s a nice curry spice mix and it’s aggressively marketed in a slick way, but the product delivers. I think his would be a much larger brand if they doubled the amount of spice. These tins are small. I’m happy I got a £20 intro discount for this pack which made it the price range it should be in the first place ! Saying all of that for a special dinner party I think this will be a staple go to in my kitchen arsenal. These spices are some of the very best you could buy.
Needed more water than the recipe suggested as turned out very dry. Good taste though.
I’ve been cooking Indian food for years and I can honestly say these spices create perfect dishes. Our favourite is Butter Chicken with the Byriani a close second. Easy to follow recipes too.
I utilised the leftover lamb from the Easter Sunday roast and it worked as equally well as when I've followed the recipe from scratch using fresh lamb.
The meat remained tender while taking on all the spices and that nice little bit of heat that makes the nose run slightly, in a good way.
Can really taste the difference with this garam masala - oozes flavour and takes me back to being in India

What can I say - absolutely excellent original vindaloo taste, not the silly, over hot curry so often served in restaurants. Found it a little tricky to locate a tamarind paste with the suggested percentage of tamarind, but so worth persisting. If only the spice mix tin sizes were larger!
The biryani has become a weekly favourite for my Father and I. Better than any take away. Delicious, deep flavour. I can not recommend the dish enough you wont be disappointed.
I love curry and lamb so it was a no brainer to try the roast lamb raan recipe. I was not disappointed & my guests were in awe - definitely one to repeat & I'll be trying the biriani next!
My husband is disappointed, I cannot have a takeaway or go out for a curry as it's just not the same. All the recipes are easy to follow and taste delicious.
Absolutely awesome far better than a lot of High Street Indian restaurants, would definitely recommend to anyone who loves curry. Not only this one but all the rest.
Made Lamb chops this past weekend, must admit, was pleasantly surprised how excellent it tasted, considering it was over marinated!
As legs of lamb are on offer everywhere, we decided to take advantage of this fantastic weather and used this rub to marinade the lamb in, with greek yoghurt and a little extra garlic. It barbequed brilliantly and was succulent and spicy. We had naans with a thick raita, lots of chopped tomatoes & sliced onions and a selection of Indian chutneys. So easy to make, I would highly recommend.
