My first experience with Mrs Balbir Singh’s spices and, although highly recommended, was so impressed with the outcome. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Can’t wait to try my other purchases and have already ordered more me and as presents.
I have tried many curry recipes. This is now my families favourite, it beats the others hands down. Luckily, it is also one of the easiest to make, thanks to the spice blend. I will never need to try another recipe again. In our opinion, this one is unbeatable.
We’ve used a pre-packed spice and rice biryani at home before, but it pales when compared to the magic that is Mrs BS. Having followed the recipe to the letter, the resulting biryani was impressive. I’ve even gone so far as to order 4 more tins as stocking fillers this Christmas.
The Old Delhi Butter Chicken curry is just right. Not too hot. Enough spice to make it a tasty meal for the whole family.
This spice mix is absolutely delicious! I actually added it to chicken with salt, garlic ginger and ground cumin and it was so tasty. Went down a real treat for the whole family.

Buy the best diced leg of lamb from a local butcher and cook slowly as per the recipe instructions and you will not be disappointed

I am very pleased with the spices I bought, they were in lovely tins and really look good in my kitchen! Such a fresh aroma when I took the lids off and made my first home cooked biryani, the recipe card was easy to follow, thank you very much.
The Vindaloo blend delivers a mellow, deep, rich flavour every time. Just the right level of heat and great with chicken, lamb or pork. This may be scandalous, but add a pack of coconut milk for a smooth sweet change!

The recipe cards make cooking Shahi Chicken Masala so easy and it’s comparable if not better than any dish I’ve had in an Indian Restaurant
I used a 50/50 mix of coconut cream and milk in the Kerelan curry, otherwise the sauce was a bit 'thin'. Tastes excellent though!
