Made a lamb Rogan Josh yesterday using the spices provided and followed the recipe provided. It turned out amazing. Thank you so much
A few weeks ago I made the Lamb Kashmiri Rogan Josh. Partway through the recipe, I wasn't at all certain about it. But it turned into the best lamb curry I had ever produced. But that wasn't enough for me. I wanted to make sure I had an equally stunning vegetarian option (what can you do when you have vegan and vegetarian friends.
So I made a mushroom version. I figured that button mushrooms would have a sort of meaty type texture to them and would be a similar type of feel as a lamb version.
It was stunning. Now I am a meat eater that likes quite a lot of vegetarian food. And I can say on a personal level I liked the mushroom version as much if not more than the lamb version. Give both a go, see which you prefer and don't get disheartened at the point where you have a big gloopy mess in the pan and you are wondering if it will ever turn into a decent curry. It is all part of the process and it turns into an unimaginably fancy curry.
Authentic spices of the Rogan and Garam Masala, my guests said it was amazing, definitely the best spices I’ve tried for curries, I shall be ordering again.
Made the Rogan Josh for the family at the weekend and they all said it was the best they’ve ever had..so good that I ordered the pack of six which arrived today..going to be another great curry weekend😋
Loved the spice mix and the Garam Masala, I would amend next time I use to make it more to my taste as I don't like yoghurt but followed the recipe. Can't wait to try again, possibly adding mushrooms and spinach too
