Dal Palak (Lentil & Spinach)
- Free tracked UK shipping on orders over £30
Dal in any form is comfort food in India. The addition of spinach makes this recipe not only incredibly wholesome and flavourful but a plant-based powerhouse!
Our gourmet blend, which includes premium spices such as turmeric, coriander, cumin and chilli, ensures a smoky, spicy and super-healthy meal.
Enjoy it as a soup, a light curry dish with naan or chapatti, a side dish with other curries... or as 'dal chawal' (dal 'n rice) as millions of people in India do on a daily basis for a delicious and hearty meal.
Dal palak is naturally gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those looking to have more plant-based foods in their diet. It is also a low GI recipe and suitable for diabetics.

I love these mixes!
Did lots of dishes fit a dinner party - the guests were blown away! So quick and easy to prepare and cook!just read the recipe cards well - cos some require a marinade for hrs or overnight!
Great veggie curry easy to make very flavoursome, good way towards 5 a day as well very good tasting curry
Not been able to try this one yet but I'm sure.....like the other one l bought....it will be amazing...
This spice blend is superb, and so easy to use. I always used to make my own dal and purchased thus for ease of use while we are out in our motohome. I have not been able to compete with Mrs Balbir Singh - this uis awesome x as is the Keralan Coconut Curry. I will review the others once I have used them and I already know I won't be disappointed x
I have tried a lot of these spices and love them all. This was a new one for me and is as yummy as all the other spices. Really easy recipe to follow, not very hot either but can add a green chilli if you want to make it hotter
