Introduced to the coastal state of Goa in the 1500s by Portuguese sailors who travelled with their garlic-flavoured vinegar stew. Carne de Vinha d'alhos, or vindaloo, refers to meat cooked in wine and garlic. One of the most famous but also misrepresented Indian dishes, this version is packed full of its signature intense, tangy, garlicky and 'pickled pork' notes, and can be as hot or mild as you prefer.

One of the tastiest curries I have ever eaten!

I recently purchased the paste for the goan vindaloo. I was amazed at how good it was. Tasted better than anything in a restaurant. Flavours were absolutely amazing!

Got a kick !!

Only made this recently. I love a hot curry and thiscsurpassed my expectations. I only added green chillies and found that a comfortable hear. A good curry is a good curry when you need a tissue 👍…. Excellent spices and tastes wonderful
