Had seen the adverts a few times, read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I do usually make a few curries and use the individual spices. This took all the hassle out of the measuring though ✅. Easy to cook, tasty curry. I did use half the recommended dosage as we don’t like them to be too strong. Glad I took the plunge to try them out.
made this goan curry a few times now and love it. slightly different from your normal curry. IT is very rich and as much as it says 12 garlic cloves would advise to be slightly care full. I do put the 12 in as its a garlic dish but may advise any body making it for first time cut back a bit and see what you think. easier to add than take out. its a lovely dish. Made one this weekend 14th September and bought a piece of Brisket. Cut it up into pieces and cooked the whole curry in the slow cooker for 6 hours meat melted in your mouth.
This is the first time I've made a biriani but it won't be the last. Much easier than I expected and so delicious

This isn't just a spice mix for curries don't get me wrong ut is essential to finish the cooking with a teaspoon of this mix so superior to shop bought I now use this in other recipes i recently made a tomato and red onion chutney with excess Tom's from the allotment and added two teaspoons 10 mins before the end of cooking and wow it took the chutney to a different level this is before being bottled and stored for the flavours to mature. I sprinkle on cheese on toast might experiment in a creamy rice pudding

The worry for me was that this dish would be too fiery for my palate, however this was not the case. Wonderfully spicy and full of taste, with easy to follow directions on its construction. Would recommend.
I found this to be easier and quicker to prepare and cook than biriani or butter chicken and it was delicious. There was a smell of smokiness which I thought might affect the taste in a negative way but it actually enhanced it. I put three small green finger chillies in seeds inc, and it was just the right heat for me. I might slip in a red chilli next time hubby likes it quite hot.
Crystal clear instructions using other widely available ingredients in addition to the Blend made the most amazing Butter Chicken Curry. Tasty and very appetising!

This is a lovely curry I often make it with chick peas. Would be perfect with veggies, fish or chicken too. It's lighter but still has a nice heat kick to it. A welcome change as coconut milk rather than tomatoes.
I tried this and found it to be a lot easier than it sounded, it is a great main dish or side, I do think it needs a Curry Gravy to accompany it but that is a personal preference,
I will definitely make it again and maybe add a couple of green chillies to spice it up
I have only managed the butter chicken and tandoori rub so far, and both are the best I have ever tried at home. We are all really looking forward to trying the others as soon as possible

This spice blend is superb, and so easy to use. I always used to make my own dal and purchased thus for ease of use while we are out in our motohome. I have not been able to compete with Mrs Balbir Singh - this uis awesome x as is the Keralan Coconut Curry. I will review the others once I have used them and I already know I won't be disappointed x
The recipe card makes it very easy to make. Such a difference having pre mixed spices! The flavour was amazing.
Excellent recipe - very straightforward. It was a bit spicy for us so next time I’ll use less of the butter curry spice mix. The flavours were fantastic!

I've ordered these time and again, because they're simply awesome. The only negative thing for me is they should do refills in paper pouches, as opposed to having to order a whole new tin. Thinking of the environment.
