Love these spices, the biryani blend is another one of my favourites, it tastes so authentic we rarely eat out for curry these days.
I have been using these spices for a few years now and wouldn't use anything else. Rogan Josh is one of my favourites and all my guests love it when I cook it.
I found the ingredients to be absolutely delicious and authentic more than any dish I have attempted to cook , at weekends.

I’ve tried out quite a few of Mrs Balbhir Singh’s spice blends and I haven’t found anything better. It’s as good if not better then any meal I’ve had in an Indian restaurant.

I bought a selection of the MBS grill spices for a casual outdoor dinner party and these cocktail kebabs were our favourite. Very quick and easy to make, these little patties were delicious make with pork sausage meat. Always use a food processor to blend the meat with other ingredients. Doing this makes the flavour and texture sublime. Far better than any starter at our local Indian restaurant. I’m sure they would work with other meats too. The cooked patties can be eaten hot or cold and freeze well too - but I doubt there will be any left over!

We live in Vermont where good Indian food is hard to come by. We are transplanted from NYC and London and have had enough good food to know the difference.
The results from the provided recipe were excellent. We converted the metric measurements to more familiar ones and the rest was simple to follow.
We plan to order several more spices to expand our repertoire at home.

I’ve just bought this starter set for a friend’s birthday because I’m a big fan of Mrs Balbir Singh and maintain a stock of the full range. This smaller selection is perfect to start out as it has a great mix of curry, grill and biryani options, suitable for meat or veggie. I have no doubt my friend will love it and come back to buy more.
This selection of spice blends is ideal as a starter selection.

A little confession, I hate tamarind so I used a bit of lime juice instead.
I’ve just recently discovered these spice pots and they really bring an authentic Indian taste to the base ingredients. I’m also finding the recipe cards helpful especially for making the biryani which is first class. Highly recommend these products.

Recently bought 2 14 pack “Collections” one for home and the other away, where I periodically treat Spanish friends to “rest of world” cooking! I tried my first dish making Lamb Raan, using new season local lamb shoulder butterflied off the shoulder. Served with lightly spiced roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese loaded with spinach, it was a revelation. It was important for me not to overpower the accompaniments to the lamb in order to judge the spicing. Seldom looked forward to eating leftovers so much and already looking forward to my next curry experience.
I made the butter chicken over the weekend and my family adored it! These spices are wonderful!
All spices are excellent. The flavour they impart just wonderful. The dishes are authentic. Instructions are brilliant and the web site is also excellent to look at the dishes and have excellent guidance. I ordered some for my daughter to try.
Just ordered the pouch of old Delhi butter chicken sauce to take away on my holiday... perfect curry spices on the move...I'll let you know how it goes once prepared and eaten 😄
