This is a must for any curry lover. Absolutely gorgeous curry. There's a reason this is the King. Can't wait to make another one. 10/10.
I’ve made several attempts to make a biryani and failed miserably. I am happy to say thanks to fantastic ingredients and a comprehensive recipe card I’ve now found a way to make the perfect biryani.
I am a recent convert to Mrs Balbir Singh. Everything I have tried so far has been a success. I am particularly fond of teh biriyani recipe and use it for batch cooking when I am on shift. It is one of those meals that improve with age. I thought I would give my sona gift box as an introduction.

I have always wanted to make a biryani, however the recipes have always felt a little daunting.
However….this biryani mix is a game changer. The biryani I made using the spice mix and instruction card was absolutely fab! So easy to make following the recipe card. Now to explore the other mixes
Ordered a few weeks ago, just about to order these two again. Love the curries, a step above the norm. Kerala coconut chicken thighs with sweet potato pictured. Yum.
The spice mix is perfect. Made chicken Biryani which went down a treat. Can honestly say it tasted better than my local restaurant made.
This garam masala is sooo much better than any supermarket ones and really enhances the dish when added towards end of cooking. Have bought before and will buy again

There is only one problem with the spice and recipe its so much better than eating out but I enjoy cooking anyway.
Although on the pricey side if you crave a biryani this spice gives a very genuine flavor, better than some of the restaurants
We've been using these spice mixes for some time now and have recommended them to friends and family. They are great and we produce very authentic tasting curries. This latest order was for a Christmas present for family living in the USA.
Absolutely delicious. The first time I made it, it was a little hot for our guests, but added creme fraiche and it was spot on. Have made it since adding a tiny bit less spice and it’s absolutely perfect. So flavoursome.
Lovely presentation and spices smell delicious. Not tried as giving for presents.
These spice blends are superb, my only regret is that you cannot buy bigger sized canisters. Would you consider this?
Very tasty recipe and really authentic. The only downside is that although they show pictures of the smoking method (which I think makes a huge difference to the taste), they do not sell the tools to be able to do it. I made do with what I had, but I think it would make a big difference to the experience being able to buy a gift set that included these items
Love using them to create some really delicious meals.
Two things:
1. The tins used for the Tandoori Rub are a bit daft.
2. The recipe cards only have one oven temp shown and it's not clear if that's for a conventional oven or a fan oven. We found out the hard way and just caught our Tandoori roast chicken in time. However, it still tasted delicious, especially the cold left overs the next day but a bit more clarity would be good.
Haven't tried it yet as the recipe is so complicated. Hope to try soon. I am sure it will be very tasty.

This is a big hit with all my family. So much so that we bought the gift box of three after absolutely loving our first of butter chicken blend.
