According to food historians around the world, Mrs Balbir Singh’s Shahi Chicken Masala is the dish that the world famous Chicken Tikka Masala originates from. It’s a little more creamy and indulgent, with subtle layers and a real depth of flavour. This should be no surprise as it’s roots lie in the royal kitchens of the Mogul Emperors. A very unique, decadent and extremely moreish curry.
Ships with an authentic recipe card and contains 50g of spice blend which makes between 12 servings.
For an even more authentic result add our Original Garam Masala to your order, to use as the perfect finishing spice in this recipe.

Fantastic

Tried the Shahi masala and this has to be the most luxurious curry we have had.
Superb flavours and will definitely use again

Lovely

After doing the butter chicken decided to give the Shia masala a go. Found it easier to cook and slightly milder. Wife prefers this but I like them both. Don't bother with currie takeaways anymore as these are better. Give them a go. You won't be disappointed.

Experimenting

I looked at other reviews to see if beef had been used by anyone as that was what I had in the fridge and I was excited to try making this after such good reviews. Couldn’t find anyone that had tried it but decided to give it a go. Cooked it low and slow (3hours)as recommended on the beef and it was delicious.
