Mrs Balbir Singh’s Indian Cookery Wins a Great British Food Award
We’re proud to announce that our gourmet tandoori rub has won a Highly Commended award at the Great British Food Awards 2018, and is now officially one of the best storecupboard ingredients in the UK.
Made to an old family recipe of 14 herbs and spices, this versatile artisan spice blend has quickly become a favourite at many of the best artisan butchers in the UK, online at the company’s website mrsbalbirsingh.com and its online marketplace partners Notonthehighstreet.com, TheFoodMarket.com and BoroughBox.com.
The category was judged by Sheila Dillon, presenter of BBC Radio’s The Food Programme, who had high praise for the rub. “Good clear flavours and very satisfying. I used it on a number of meats and it worked beautifully.” the award-winning food journalist said.
