I’ve just bought this starter set for a friend’s birthday because I’m a big fan of Mrs Balbir Singh and maintain a stock of the full range. This smaller selection is perfect to start out as it has a great mix of curry, grill and biryani options, suitable for meat or veggie. A little confession, I hate tamarind so I used a bit of lime juice instead.

I’ve just recently discovered these spice pots and they really bring an authentic Indian taste to the base ingredients. I’m also finding the recipe cards helpful especially for making the biryani which is first class. Highly recommend these products.
